Brrrrrrrrr!!!!

So the weather around here finally feels like winter. And its COLD! Yesterday we got a little sleet and rain. Last week was Toby and Valerie's birthdays. I bought a frame for Toby's AKC certification that Joe and I actually had just laying around for quite some time. Joe bought him another laser pointer since we lost the one we got for him at Christmas. If only I could take a picture of how much fun Toby has with it. He chases that red dot non-stop! I totally forgot to take my camera with me to dinner for Valerie's birthday. Just the two of us went to Red Lobster for dinner. We had a great dinner and just enjoyed talking! Of course I told the waitress when "I went to the bathroom" that it was her birthday so they would come out and sing! Friday Joe and I went out to Hoss's Deli with Ann and Jonathan. The guys played pool while Ann and I just talked and hung out. We stayed in for the rest of the weekend because Joe came down with a cold and it was freezing outside. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Woo Hoo, its a 3 day weekend! I have Monday off for the holiday. I'm so glad I'm finally feeling better! Earlier in the week I was in major pain from a toothache! The dentist called me in a pain prescription and a day later I was in his office and he took care of me. I'm feeling great now! Its funny how you appreciate feeling good after you feel so bad. Other news is that Joe sold his truck to his boss and he will be driving his work van around for a little while but he has the best of intentions to buy a Jeep Wrangler before the wedding. He wants the Jeep to drive around the beach with. We are both looking forward to just cruising around with the top off. Today I went out with Carolyn and we went shopping for the wedding. We managed to get a veil, corset, poofy thing (thing that goes under dress to poof it out), jewelry, and order invitations. I am really starting to get excited now about the wedding! Not that I haven't been excited but everything is coming together now and the time is also fast approaching me. The next things on my to do list for the wedding within the next month or so is to gather ALL address, meet with DJ to discuss music, and first fitting with seamstress.

Bringing in the New Year!

Just thought I would do a quick post after a nice but long weekend. I stayed busy all weekend with returning/exchanging xmas gifts, taking down xmas decorations/tree, and cleaning the house! Joe and I did go out to New Year's Eve party at his friend, Walter's house. We had a good time hanging out with friends! Here are some pictures from the New Year's party. Now I am just looking forward to watching a little of 90210, and The Devil Wears Prada that Joe gave me for Christmas! I also need to do some wedding planning this evening. Happy New Year!
