I really enjoyed the time I had to spend with my mom this week! We don't get to see each other a lot. She lives in Burnsville, NC(near Ashville). Its about a 7 hour drive from here to there. These pictures are when I went over to my Aunt Charlotte's house in Williamsburg on Thursday night. I was listening to my aunts laugh, argue, and talk and told my mom sometimes I wish I had a sister. They have the closest bond with each other! I guess I have the next best thing which is my few best friends and my Joe. In one picture is my mom, Aunt Babe, and Aunt Charlotte. I also managed to get a pretty good picture of my cousin, Santana, and I. My mom met me at my house Friday night and she,Joe, and I went to Silver Diner. None of us had been there before. It was pretty good! Then mom and I went to Ulta and got some make up and perfume. She bought me some perfume I had been wanting, Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana. I didn't need it but she wanted to spoil her little girl, I guess:)! I love the idea of having gobs of different/expensive perfume to choose from everyday. Of course I don't! But I do love the idea! Miss you mom!

Birthday and Valentine's

On February 13 I turned 23. I had a great birthday! My mom was in town, so I took my birthday off to spend with mom. We went out to lunch at Ruby Tuesday and then she took me to go get my nails done. Later that evening when Joe got home from work he cooked my mom and I a nice steak dinner. Joe, my mom, dad, and Valerie all chipped in with either gift certificates or money to go towards my new Coach purse I wanted for my birthday. I LOVE IT! I think a nice purse is an accessory every woman should have! For Valentine's Day, Joe brought me a dozen roses into work! They were beautiful! He also bought me the sweetest card but what he actually wrote on the inside was the best. Then after work Joe and I had reservations at Schloesngers. Joe treated (spoiled) me to a nice dinner there. Don't think I didn't give anything to Joe for Valentines. He got his favorite candy, Reese Cups, a card, and a special gift from me. I have pictures of my mom and I but I thought I would post those pictures tomorrow.

Wedding Talk

I have been doing a lot of wedding thinking and talking lately. The wedding is less than 80 days away now. Time has just flew by. I still have a big to do list before the wedding. These pictures are just a few of the things that are finalized. Joe and I tonight were thinking about the cottage "Life of Reily". I think we will get some good pictures of the wedding party standing out on the front steps. My invitations came in the mail last week. I just need to get my addresses together, address them, and mail them out by the first of next month. Yesterday I booked my hair appointment for Valerie and I for our up-dos. Within the next couple of days I am going to book an appointment for a spa day for the two of us girls before the wedding. It will be relaxing to us both seeing as how she has been just as busy with my wedding planning and stress as I have been. Well I just wanted to let ya in on some of the wedding details. Hoping for snow tonight and if it does I will be sure to take some pictures!

Birthday Celebration

Here lately I have been forgetting to take my camera when we go out and do things. I did remember to take this picture. This picture is the cake I had ordered from Haagen Dazs for Joe's birthday. It was a chocolate ice cream cake with whip cream frosting. For his birthday Kim (Joe's sister), myself, and Joe went out to eat at Cheddars. Also this past week we actually saw our first snow but it didnt last or stick. We have a chance again for snow tomorrow night. This past Friday night Joe, myself, and Valerie went out to Walter's mom's house to play poker. We all had a good time no money lost! Saturday Joe and I went to City Center and I found a pretty cool store I had never really seen before. Its kinda "make your own fragrance store". I was pretty impressed. I had a magnolia scented linen spray made and I love it! Saturday nite we also went to Outback Steakhouse to meet my parents for dinner. Gotta love prime rib! We were celebrating both Joe's and my birthday. Sunday we stayed in watched the superbowl. I was hoping for the Bears. Oh well. Joe was happy with the end of the game because he won a bet. Im really looking forward to seeing my mom next week! I hope I remember to take some pictures. Well thats it for now. THINK SNOW!!
