Bridal Shower

Last Wednesday evening a few co-workers put together a beautiful bridal shower for me. Dawn, Valerie, and Carolyn attended too! A special thank you to Jennifer for planning and putting everything together for me! I was especially excited and happy to see Dawn because we had not seen each other for over a year. My branch as whole gave me pillows, candles, sconces, hand vac, and a air purifier. My manager gave a gorgeous long lingerie gown. Joe's mom did not attend but she did drop off a nice gift for me. She put together a nice time capsule/basket for me. I loved everything and it was something special I will always remember! Dawn stayed over Friday so her and I could catch up and have some much needed girl time. Very Busy!!!

Joe and I have both been very busy lately. He has been working a lot and I have been too! Besides working I have been busy doing things for the wedding. Last week I addressed and mailed out invitations and met the seamstress with some of my bridesmaids. Valerie and Kim both looked great in their dress! Joe and I also met with the DJ last week. I so underestimated the amount of thought that just goes into music for a wedding. Needless to say I have some decisions to make about the music. Joe was happy this weekend because he purchased an new "to him" explorer. I will post a picture of the new truck sometime soon. Joe and I also went to Walters birthday party this past Saturday night. Last night TJ, Frankie, and Kim all came over and stayed the night. I wish I would have took some pictures! I love seeing the boys! I am looking forward to this weekend because Joe and I are going to purchase our wedding bands and next week I have my bridal shower! Well I'm getting to bed early tonight because the boys wore me out last night and I have to go to Norfolk tomorrow morning for work. The wedding is only about a month and a half a away so I might be doing a lot of wedding talk in my blog coming up because I am getting super excited.
